How to Get Test Results

Routine blood, urine, swab tests etc taken in the practice will normally take up to 1-2 days to come back, although a few can take up to 1 week. Warfarin blood test will be available in 48 hours.

Cervical smear tests are currently taking around 2 weeks.  

Xray results are normally available after 10 days.

How will I be able to find out about the results?

 

In all cases you will be informed of any test result that your Doctor feels is abnormal and appropriate follow up arranged if necessary.

Please do not telephone for your result too early and where possible call between 2pm - 4pm to speak to the Secretary.
